Shipping policy

Pursuant to the operational and fulfilment framework adopted by Tomodachi, all products are manufactured and dispatched through our designated production partner, Tapstitch. As a print-on-demand enterprise, each item is produced only upon confirmation of an order, thereby integrating both production and shipping processes into a consolidated timeline. This model ensures product exclusivity and minimises excess inventory, but inherently requires customers to account for production lead times prior to dispatch.

Tomodachi supports international shipping across a wide range of destinations. However, it must be noted that certain countries or regions may impose restrictions, regulatory barriers, or complete prohibitions on inbound shipments. Accordingly, customers bear the responsibility of ensuring that international delivery is permissible within their jurisdiction prior to placing an order. Failure to do so may result in unsuccessful delivery or return of goods, for which additional charges may apply.

All orders are subject to a production phase before shipment. For print-on-demand items, manufacturing is generally completed within one to six business days, depending on the volume and complexity of the order. For standard, non-custom garments—such as basic T-shirts or sweatshirts—sampling typically requires approximately seven business days, followed by a bulk production period ranging between seven and fifteen business days. More technically sophisticated garments, including outerwear, knitwear, denim, and tailored items, require a similar sampling period but may extend to approximately fifteen business days for full production due to the complexity of fabrication processes. These timeframes are indicative and may be affected by external disruptions or unforeseen operational delays.

Following production, orders are dispatched using logistics methods determined by efficiency, cost, and destination. Air freight is predominantly utilised to ensure timely and secure delivery, particularly for smaller or time-sensitive orders. In certain cases, and depending on customer preference or order scale, alternative shipping methods such as sea freight may be arranged, acknowledging the trade-off between reduced cost and extended delivery duration. Fulfilment locations may vary, with some items dispatched from facilities in the United States or China, depending on availability and logistical optimisation.

Estimated shipping durations vary according to the selected shipping method. International shipping generally takes between five and fifteen business days, with expedited options averaging shorter delivery windows and standard options extending up to approximately twenty-five to thirty days. These estimates exclude public holidays, customs processing periods, and other external variables. Customers should note that all delivery timeframes are projections rather than guarantees and may be impacted by factors beyond operational control, including customs inspections, transportation disruptions, or inaccurate delivery information.

Upon dispatch, each order is assigned a tracking number to facilitate shipment monitoring. Customers may receive periodic updates regarding the status of their delivery and are encouraged to utilise the tracking information provided to remain informed. In circumstances where a package has not been received within twenty days of shipment, customers should promptly initiate contact to enable investigation. Common causes of delivery failure include incorrect shipping details, invalid contact information, or missed courier communications. Where such inaccuracies are attributable to the customer, additional shipping fees may be incurred for re-delivery.

Tomodachi shall not be held liable for delays arising from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to customs clearance procedures, transportation disruptions, labour strikes, or governmental restrictions. In instances where a package is returned to sender due to incorrect information, refusal, or failure to claim the parcel, customers may be required to bear the cost of reshipment.

In the unlikely event that a package is lost or arrives in a damaged condition, customers must notify the relevant support channels within seven days of receipt, providing appropriate photographic evidence where applicable. Upon verification, arrangements will be made for replacement or reshipment in accordance with fulfilment policies. Where tracking information indicates successful delivery but the package cannot be located, customers are advised to liaise directly with the carrier, as liability for such cases may be limited.
