Tomodachi's Letter

Tomodachi means friends. The first character 友 (tomo) means “friend.” It depicts two hands overlapping and helping each other in friendship. The second character 達 (dachi) is a suffix to indicate plural. We hope that more people across the world become our tomodachi, and we can provide a helping hand to one another, in growing towards Christ.

Tomodachi was envisioned to be more than just a clothing brand. We want to create a community who take the courage to follow and wholeheartedly believe in the name of JESUS CHRIST, to reveal the truth within the word of God, upholding the blood of Christ as the new covenant of Life. We want to create and grow a community who does not just worship Christ during Sunday service, but loves God through every season of life. Perhaps creating a community which feels so familiar and friendly that anyone who wears our brand represent a larger part of our friendship.

Tomodachi is the first step towards shedding floodlights on the darkness that surrounds the world. We believe even when you stand alone against the world, the word of God always protects you, and guides you to reveal the truth. This is our vision. This is Tomodachi.

More than a brand, Tomodachi is a message of faith, friendship, and purpose. We believe that God connects people for a reason, and through our designs, we express trust in His plan and strength through Him. Our mission is to remind others that they are never alone, and that true connection is built through faith and loyalty.

Tomodachi's Vision

As Tomodachi grows, we envision a community who can come together once a month to shout out the joy of life, and brag the love of Christ, starting out locally in Adelaide, and spreading out throughout Australia and just maybe the entire world.

Tomodachi also envisions to be a helping hand to those in need, following in the footsteps of Jesus Christ who helped and healed others. Donating to global charities such as Caritas Australia, alongside other reputable institutions dedicated to alleviating poverty and advancing human welfare worldwide, irrespective of anyone's religion and faith.

Tomodachi was founded to be more than just a clothing brand. We are perhaps a community of people who share a passion to serve and worship christ. We want to remind people that worship is not just a singular moment on a Sunday morning, rather a continued devotion to Christ throughout life.

Thus, we have come up with an idea to host something like a worship night. Coming together once or twice a month to strengthen and connect us, so we can all share our unique strengths and grow together in Christ, supporting each other.

We will first be starting locally on the streets of Adelaide, and as Tomodachi grows, spreading out across Australia, and just one day, maybe also across the world.
